Work with us!

We are keen to hear from creative young people who want to gain experience working in the arts. If you have an interest in the production side of theatre and want to build on your skills, then this could be a great opportunity for you.

Some of the positions we are looking to fill at each event day are:

  • Audition runners - helping with the auditions/headshots

  • Event coordinators - general help on event days such as checking tickets/managing the schedule/assisting the team.

  • Social media - making content and posting on our channels

  • Technical theatre - sound, lighting or stage management in the live shows

  • Video - assisting with the live stream and filming of the live shows

  • Assistant MD - helping the musical director in the auditions (piano skills are a bonus!)

  • Dance captain - helping the workshop leaders with routines (strong dance required!)

  • Other - if you have a skill that you think might be useful, let us know!

All roles will be supervised and briefed and there will always be staff around to help and answer any questions. We will make the days varied and switch people around to give opportunities to everyone. If interested, you will be asked to do a zoom briefing before the day.

This is a work experience role, but we may be able to cover expenses for people travelling from further afield. If contestants want to take advantage of these opportunities, they may be able to claim free entry or a free workshop place.

We are also keen to hear from people with chaperone licenses to volunteer on show days.

We look forward to hearing from you!
