ALEX JAMES ELLISON

Alex is a producer/writer/actor/musician originally from Brighton who specialises in working with young people in the arts. He received his BA Hons Degree from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts having previously trained at the BRIT School and has worked extensively in the entertainment industry. He regularly teaches all over the country and internationally, working with young people and adults from all different backgrounds. He is currently in Oh, Mary! in the West End as a walking cover and recently appeared in Choir Of Man in the West End.

In 2016, Alex created West End Calling to give young people a unique experience to learn from West End performers in a professional setting. He created something he wished he'd had when he was coming into the industry and is thrilled that so many people benefit from what we offer. He loves seeing contestants flourish into wonderful performers and people and is delighted to be part of their journey.

BECKI LE

Competition Coordinator

Becki a performer, teacher and facilitator originally from Cheshire. She began her training with the Royal Exchange Young Company in Manchester before going on to study at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts. She later received her BA (Hons) Degree in Musical Theatre from Performance Preparation Academy in Guildford.

 

As a performer, Becki’s credits include Odd Squad (CBBC) and Mixtape (Royal Exchange Theatre). Alongside performing, she has developed a strong passion for working with young people and now teaches and facilitates at schools and performing arts organisations across London.

 

Becki has been part of the West End Calling team for the past year and absolutely loves being involved in the charity and nurturing young talent. As a proud Northerner, she is thrilled to be part of a team committed to making high-quality theatre opportunities more accessible to young people from across the UK, regardless of where they are from.
